A Lemonade Stand for the Whales
7-Year-Old Louisa Raises $150 to Protect the Ocean
Louisa, a 7-year-old from Pennsylvania, was inspired by a show featuring a Save the Whales poster and three girls on a mission to protect marine life. Her love for animals and passion for storytelling fueled her determination to make a difference. “I don't want there to be trash in the ocean. I love animals and I write stories about animals. And whales are some of my favorites,” she shared.
With that spirit, Louisa set up a lemonade stand, rallied her neighborhood and friends from near and far, and proudly raised $150—complete with her own whale drawing. Her generosity and creativity remind us that no one is too young to make waves for change.
